Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Data Scientist to complement our team of software engineers. You'll work on consumer technology and healthcare projects with diverse applications, applying your core data science skills to solve real-world business problems. Key Responsibilities:
Work on a range of projects involving data engineering, data analysis/experimentation, and data visualisation and communication
Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning techniques to identify patterns, make predictions or discover insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, engineers, researchers) to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions to optimise business processes and gather insights.
Design and develop experiments to test and validate the performance of data science models
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant technologies, including but not limited to:
Techniques for data collection, storage and preparation, as well as statistical analysis and visualisation, Machine learning and deep learning frameworks
Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within CDP
Contribute to developing internal tools and processes for efficient data analysis and visualisation.

About You
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in data science, with a strong foundation in general data science concepts
Familiarity with popular frameworks (e.g., Keras, TF-Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable:
Experience with programming languages like C++, Java, or MATLAB
Familiarity with popular data science tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks, NumPy, Pandas)
Experience with AI applications (e.g. NLP, generative AI, image recognition, RAG)
Background in design thinking or human-centered design
