About The Role

At CDP our vision is to significantly improve and enrich lives through innovation. We focus on market sectors where we have deep expertise and can cross fertilise ideas. Currently these include Healthcare (highly regulated), Consumer products (consumer and brand focused) and Industrial solutions (technically focused).

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will interact with clients and be responsible for leading large projects and programmes to time, cost and quality, driving innovative functionality into product and process developments, delivering real benefits to our clients, to people’s lives and to the planet.

The majority of the projects you would work on are in the medical and healthcare space, where we improve human health with products such as the First Response Monitor which delivered biometric diagnostic monitoring to a challenging environment, winning two red dot awards in the process. We develop drug delivery platforms and the production lines to deliver them in volume; medical devices and therapeutic instruments ranging from simple catheters to surgical robotics; and of course, diagnostic systems, ranging from blood glucose monitors, to automated assays for biological agents, such as a system helping to directly address the coronavirus pandemic.

What ties all these developments together is a focus on improving lives through innovation, and a respect for elegant, simple and creative solutions. This role will offer you the perfect opportunity to lead and work within multi-disciplinary project teams while bringing your insight, creativity, and technical knowledge to develop solutions for our clients.
