About The Role
We are looking for an Insight & Strategy Research Consultant to support CDP's Drug Delivery team and help provide clear, high quality project recommendations to our Drug Delivery clients. Strong, well-evidenced insight is key to our strategic recommendations, and to building successful client relationships.

Role and Responsibilities:
The main duties of your role will be conducting primary and secondary research to build the market, user and technical insights needed to deliver impactful projects within the Drug Delivery market. 

This role will offer you the opportunity to develop expertise in key Insight & Strategy competencies, including:
Sector research & analysis
Interviewing key stakeholders to ascertain and prioritise needs
Strategy tools
Commercial analysis
Business case development
Technology landscaping 

You will start by operating on (and in due course, leading) innovation research and strategy programmes within our Drug Delivery group. You will contribute within our multi-disciplinary, multi-sector environment, and also support CDP’s overall business development and sales activities.
About You
This role requires a passion for research, insight capture and analysis and communication outputs in a clear, concise and digestible format, for delivery to internal and external clients. You will be a motivated self-starter, able to manage your own time and to produce deliverables of the highest quality.
Your qualifications & skills
Good degree in a Life Science subject such as biology, biochemistry, etc or in biomedical or mechanical engineering (with a medical or drug delivery devices focus),
Since graduation, you will have obtained experience in an insight research role,
Familiarity with pharmaceutical, regulatory and device aspects of the Drug Delivery industry,
Exceptional organisational, time management and IT skills,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high level of attention to detail.
Show an entrepreneurial attitude and commercial awareness,
The confidence and ability to present your ideas and results in a clear and easily digestible manner, 
Articulate, knowledgeable and up-to-date with relevant industry challenges, trends and emerging technologies.
Your Personal Qualities:
Able to cope with tight deadlines and to respond flexibly and calmly to project scopes that may change rapidly,
Enjoy working in teams, but able to also work independently and manage own time accordingly,
Keen to continually learn and to then share that learned knowledge.
