About The Role
As Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be part of and leading our multidisciplinary teams contributing to major development projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software for a range of product applications for our clients globally within the medical, consumer and energy sectors. Experienced in working to tight deadlines, you will be comfortable with client liaison, be an expert in your field, lead and manage projects successfully within budget and deadlines. You will participate and contribute in project reviews, brainstorm with clients and define product requirements and most importantly see your unique ideas launched into the market.

About You
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Embedded C essential
  • C++ experience desirable
  • Project Leadership/Management 
  • Supporting of Business Development activities 
  • Experience of microcontroller development essential 
  • Algorithm design hugely desirable 
  • Experience of an embedded RTOS
  • Experience of Linux and Python hugely desirable
  • Understanding of the performance impact of using different features of software languages
  • Knowledge of software best practices 
  • Appreciation of test methodologies 
  • Knowledge of basic electronics
  • Be self-motivated and accustomed to getting on with tasks with a thirst for new technologies and using the best tools for the job
  • Ability to work as part of a team on short and demanding projects with strict attention to details
