About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Lead with extensive experience of partnering on innovation initiatives with some of the world’s largest Consumer Health brands, to play a key role in strategically and operationally leading the development of new business within this sector for CDP.

We believe the Consumer Healthcare sector provides incredibly exciting opportunities – both for consumers to be more empowered in the management of a range of health, personal-care and lifestyle outcomes, and for brands and businesses to help them to do so more effectively, through improved technologies and user experiences. We also recognise there are considerable challenges. Our innovation team works with our global Consumer Healthcare clients to help them identify strategic innovation opportunities and develop winning products and services.

As an experienced business developer you will work closely with the Board, and other sector and discipline leaders on targeted business development activity, to achieve challenging team targets. A confident and creative communicator with excellent presentation abilities you will be comfortable integrating at all levels with marketing, design, science and engineering teams to ensure our clients benefit from an industry-leading Consumer Healthcare innovation and new product development service.
About You
  • Have a good degree in a social sciences, design, engineering or science discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.4.
  • Have worked at a senior level in a well-regarded market research, management consulting, or innovation agency, or a large multi-national, with a demonstrable track record of managing and delivering successful consumer health sector innovation collaborations.
  • Have hands-on experience of project managing global, multi-market innovation programmes for $bn brands.
  • Be able to balance the demands of client relationship management, business development, influencing (and where relevant, participating in) project delivery, and building capability.
  • An excellent track record of initiating and managing business relationships in the FMCG/CPG and Consumer Health product sector.
  • A positive and flexible temperament: happy to work both as part of a team, and independently
  • A willingness to travel internationally.
