As Facilities Maintenance Technician you will be expected to react to issues reported on the facilities helpdesk, take ownership of compliance-based tasks including weekly fire alarm testing and emergency light testing. You will also work on various maintenance and project jobs around the company and will be responsible for helping to schedule the repair and maintenance of all site equipment and facilities. CDP UK is currently based over multiple sites with our Head Office based in Toft. You will be required to travel between local sites to carry out various maintenance tasks and duties.
Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for identifying issues on site including site repairs, electrical systems, machines, furniture etc. that is considered important for the functioning of the facility. You will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining stocks for tube lights, bulbs, switches, electric cables, taps, stationery, or any other requirements.
The health and safety, and security of the site(s) and its facilities is another responsibility of the facilities department. As part of the team, you will actively promote safety standards, and where appropriate conduct tests to ensure that the safety systems, alarms, etc., are working.
