About The Role
Cambridge Design Partnership is different. We are a world-class product development consultancy driven by technology but inspired by meeting end user needs to create commercial success. To achieve this we have a wide range of capabilities from science, through engineering to industrial design. Our expertise is delivered by teams who specialise in the requirements of three major industry sectors: Healthcare, Consumer, and Industrial. Our Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) group works across both Consumer and Healthcare and is a leading provider of electronic nicotine delivery (vaping, ENDS) product development services to the principal operators in these markets.

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated professional to lead the business development efforts in our THR sector. Your objective will be to identify commercial opportunities to deploy our skills and experience with the major operators in sector. An important part of your role will include working closely with the sector head and our experienced technical specialists, to support them in writing proposals, and closing sales. If you can spot trends and can create opportunities in the market, love talking with prospective clients to generate early-stage leads, enjoy networking at conferences, nurturing prospects and if you delight in the freedom that comes from working in a dynamic organisation, then you will have fun and thrive here!

CDP has been supporting THR clients for over 8 years and provides a wide range of services ranging from user research, product development and transfer to manufacture.  We use qualitative and quantitative techniques to develop user insights that inform our design and engineering work. Aerosol engine development is undertaken utilising our analytical laboratory and in-house prototyping workshop.
