About The Role
Are you an ambitious and creative Graduate Electrical Engineer who is graduating in 2022 and ready for a challenge? You'll join our Graduate Development Programme and benefit from the support of an allocated mentor, a mix of training which will focus on consultancy and soft skills development, on the job learning to help you grow technically, and the support to achieve chartership. 
You will be responsible for developing electronic hardware and embedded software for a range of products and applications in the consumer, healthcare and energy sectors. You will be involved in all aspects of product development - from concept, to analysis, to prototype design and transfer to manufacture.

About You

  • BS in Electrical Engineering – minimum GPA of 3.4, preferably 3.6 or higher is required for this position
  • Solid analogue electronics knowledge
  • Understanding of Power Supply Design
  • Experience with microcontrollers (PIC, STM32 etc.)
  • Signal Processing and Control Theory understanding
  • Understanding of communication busses and protocol (I2C, SPI, UART etc)
  • Technical experience in control theory, power supplies, analogue design, high speed digital design, firmware development gained from work experience/internships
  • Good presentation skills and an effective communicator 
  • Able to work as part of a small team to an aggressive timescale and with strict attention to detail 
  • Be self-motivated and accustomed to getting on with tasks with a thirst for new technologies and using the best tools for the job 
  • Bright, conscientious and creative with an ability to demonstrate a hobby or interest with a practical or technical relevance
