About The Role

As an Associate Electronics Engineer you will work in our collaborative environment where you will have the support of an experienced team. You can expect to develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience of fast-paced technology development.

In the healthcare space, we improve human health with products such as the First Response Monitor which delivered biometric diagnostic monitoring to a challenging environment, winning two Red Dot awards in the process. We develop drug delivery platforms and the production lines to deliver them in volume; medical devices and therapeutic instruments ranging from simple catheters to surgical robotics; and diagnostic systems, ranging from blood glucose monitors, to automated assays for biological agents. Such a system is helping to directly address the coronavirus pandemic today.

In the consumer space, we create anything from toys to GPS systems and beyond, and have developed a specialism in demanding, hand-held, power constrained, and wearable products, each of which enriches the lives of their owners. We work with many of well known brands such as Speedo, Avon and ECCO.

For industrial solutions, connectivity plays an increasing role, with products as part of a wider ecosystem. Examples such as metering and measurement give direct benefit, whilst others target aspects such as production automation and efficiency, resource management or renewable technologies, benefitting both the planet and humankind in the process. We also have a specialism in power electronics to address the megatrend of electrification, driven by ongoing worldwide carbon reduction and sustainability legislation.

What ties all these developments together is a focus on improving lives through innovation, and a respect for elegant and creative solutions.

You will be responsible for developing electronic hardware and embedded software for a range of products and applications in the consumer, healthcare and industrial sectors. You will be involved in all aspects of product development - from concept, to analysis, to prototype design and transfer to manufacture. This role will be based in our Cambridge office and there may opportunities for international travel to a variety of client sites. If you are looking for a varied career, in a fast paced environment where we offer our clients a proven approach to innovation, then we would love to hear from you.
