About The Role
As Graduate Software Engineer, you will be graduating from a leading University with a Electronic, Software or Computer Science degree (or similar) and be striving to begin your working career within a product and design consultancy.

You’ll be part of our multidisciplinary teams contributing to major development projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing firmware and software for a range of product applications for our clients globally within the medical, consumer and energy sectors. With our continuous support and training, we want you to be an expert in your field. You will have a positive, outgoing and professional attitude; participating in and contributing to project reviews, brainstorm with clients and define product requirements. Most importantly you will see your unique ideas launched onto the market.

About You
  • 1st or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Software
  • Experience of procedural and object-oriented languages essential
  • Knowledge of software best practices
  • Knowledge of algorithm design
  • Appreciation of test methodologies
  • Be self-motivated and accustomed to getting on with tasks with a thirst for new technologies and using the best tools for the job
  • Understanding of the performance impact of using different features of software languages
  • Able to work as part of a small team on short and demanding projects with strict attention to detail 
  • Strong soft skills with an ability to communicate complex technical issues simply
  • Knowledge of electronics desirable
