About The Role
We’re on the hunt for an exceptional and ambitious marketer to build our digital marketing machine and then to make it purr. Our business is enjoying unprecedented success and we need a Digital Marketer to devise and deliver a range of digital campaigns that power our next stage of growth. 

You’ll already be known as a leader in your field, with a fascination for B2B digital marketing, and you’ll be given the tools and the trust to really make your mark. Working alongside skilled marketers, you’ll receive well written, beautifully designed marketing assets and you’ll give them the digital campaigns that they deserve.

This is a new role that will suit someone with great knowledge of marketing automation, lead nurturing, paid social campaigns and account-based marketing, ideally gained in a high value, professional services environment. We need a proactive and energetic marketer, someone that makes things happen: Your first priority will be to select and implement appropriate tools, then you’ll work with our sector and sub sector leads to devise high-impact campaigns. 

Working alongside our Digital Graphic Designer and Marketeer, and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this is a role that will offer considerable autonomy and the opportunity to prove your skills. You will also be involved in all other aspects of marketing for the company as part of the wider team.
About You
What you will be doing:
  • Lead the assessment, selection and implementation of the core tools you’ll need, likely to include a marketing automation platform.
  • Leading a strategy to nurture our existing contacts database, moving them along a staged journey to become sales qualified leads.
  • Leading a strategy to use digital tools to generate new leads in key sub sectors.
  • Working with our business development group to ensure your work is closely aligned with the commercial needs of the business.
  • Developing digital campaigns to promote CDP’s owned media channels, with new channels planned in 2021.
  • Devising fast experiments that test the effectiveness of new approaches, tools and techniques.
  • Reporting an analysis of your work each month, demanding the content and assets you’ll need to perform, working to optimise results and committing to continual improvement.
  • You’ll be the acknowledged expert in your field, monitoring trends, ensuring we keep up with best practice and using your knowledge to upskill the wider team.
Experience required:
  • Extensive experience in planning and delivering lead nurturing campaigns, using a marketing automation tool such as HubSpot or Marketo.
  • Experience in account-based marketing, applying digital tools to widen reach into named key clients.
  • Recent experience delivering paid social campaigns, particularly using LinkedIn.
  • You’ve been the acknowledged expert in your digital marketing field, trusted and able to share that expertise in an accessible way with colleagues.
  • Your digital marketing experience has been gained in a relevant field, such as technology, engineering, science or consultancy.
  • Able to balance strategic planning with tactical delivery and equally at home with both.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, with clear evidence of career progression.
