About The Role
As one of our Human Factors experts, you will be comfortable interacting with clients and delivering your research insights and analysis. As a critical part of our service in supporting the creation of early stage concepts, you will identify and implement appropriate user research techniques including the method of ethnographic research. Cambridge Design Partnership is a leading technology and product design consultancy, managing and delivering global project work for innovative consumer and healthcare companies. As part of our cross-disciplinary user centred design team, you will have the freedom to advise project leaders on the best way to solve problems and will be expected to deliver results in the way that you choose.
About You
  • 1st or 2:1 degree in Human Factors, Product Design, Engineering, Psychology or Social Sciences related field
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
  • Commercial awareness and willingness and ability to travel nationwide and overseas (essential)
  • Experience in applying human factors methodologies to safety critical devices (Knowledge of FDA & EU regulated healthcare products is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of designing, implementing, moderating and reporting formative and summative usability studies
  • Demonstrative experience of translating research into usability engineering documentation
  • Design and planning of workshops for new and exciting products
  • Strong drive to rapidly absorb and develop skills and apply these to a wide range of projects
