About The Role
Are you a natural problem solver? 

We are looking to recruit an additional IT Apprentice to provide assistance in running and maintaining the company’s IT network, including supporting internal users, installations and getting involved in most aspects of an IT network, whilst studying for your apprenticeship. 
 
You will be:
  • Responding to support requests through our IT Helpdesk, via telephone and face to face
  • Support users with most aspects of IT
  • Installation of cables and IT equipment in meeting rooms and offices
  • Assist in IT projects such as;
    • Research and suggest uses for Cloud services
    • Rewire all network cables, making custom cables if required
    • Researching and implementing new IT equipment
  •  Set up user accounts, hardware and equipment for new starters
  • Organising and maintaining stock of all IT equipment/consumables and server rooms
About You
  • Experience with Microsoft and Apple operating systems, including installation and configuration
  • Experience with computer and peripheral hardware servicing and basic repairs
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard office software packages
  • A demonstrable interest in computers and the way they work
  • GCSE or equivalent ideally in an Information Technology or Computer subject
  • Take pride in your work both in terms of accuracy and quality
  • Strong problem-solving, logical and creative thinking skills
  • Eager and ‘can-do’ in attitude, practical in approach
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, both taking direction from and supporting other colleagues
