About The Role
This is a challenging and exciting role for a recently qualified Electronics Technician in our busy product development facility. As a member of our growing team of technicians, you will contribute to maintaining and organising our cutting-edge laboratories and workshops.

You will gain experience and expand your electronics skills both on the job and through training with more Senior Technicians. You will be involved in the design and build of experimental prototype test rigs, sourcing parts and components, PCB assembly, wiring/harnessing electronic systems, all with minimal supervision. You will be helping to deliver the requirements of our engineering teams working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where every day is different. 
 

 
About You
  • Recently qualified in HND level and/or BTEC, OND or similar in a technical discipline. 
  • Demonstrable skills in: Surface mount soldering, wiring/harnessing electronic systems, with practical lab experience.
  • Eager to learn new methods and techniques.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of output.
  • Ability to assemble prototype products and lab test rigs that include electrical systems.
  • Creative, innovative and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative is crucial.
  • Passion in engineering and technology with an ability to demonstrate a hobby or interest with a practical or technical relevance.
